Brian Cunningham

Visionary

Brian is an orthopaedic surgeon who hopes to redefine the culture in orthopaedics. He aims to raise awareness of orthopaedic care costs, bend the cost curve through patient-reported outcomes, and measure patient level value. His long-term vision is to expand beyond the setting of orthopaedics, aiming to introduce The Value Initiative’s ideas and enthusiasm to all fields of healthcare.

Sandy Vang

Operations & Integration

Sandy serves as the go-to resource for all members of the team. She ensures all facets of the research machine operates smoothly and efficiently. Her focus revolves around handling team logistics and maintaining team morale. Additionally, she serves as the primary point- of-contact for all outreach and collaboration efforts with the research team.

Harsh Parikh

Production & education

Harsh received his Masters in Public Health from the University of Minnesota. His role revolves around study analytics and data modeling. He also serves as a mentor to young residents and medical students who aim to pursue research within their unique clinical interests.

Dylan Mccreary

Research intern

Dylan received a Bachelor of Arts in chemistry from the College of Wooster before enrolling at the University of Minnesota Medical School where he is currently a second year. His focus is on understanding how to best utilize and interpret patient reported outcomes, and on measuring and improving patient level value.
